Bridal & Wedding To Do List

When planning your wedding there is so much to do it’s important to stay relaxed and make a checklist of all the things that need to be done. This will help you stay on track, and more importantly- stay stressfree :). I have compiled a list of many of the important things to remember to do in preparation for your big day. I hope it helps you out!

  1. Work out your budget – with so many options available for every thing, setting a budget will help you in so many ways. You’ll know where to save and where to splurge.
  2. If you’re really into all the latest trends find images on google and social media sites like instagram and pinterest to stay in the know about what they latest bridal trends are.
  3. Spend some time figuring out your wedding date and start looking at possible venues. Reserve a venue for your ceremony and reception; keeping in mind many venues do book up fast.
  4. Pick out your dress and accessories. While this may seem trying, having your loved ones there may help. Visit a bridal fair for inspiration.
  5. Book your all star vendors like makeup artist, caterer, photographer, videographer and officiant. Find a florist (if you need one), a cake designer and DJ entertainment, if that is something you want.
  6. Book some hotel rooms if you know you will be having out-of-town guests attending your wedding
  7. Don’t forget your bridesmaids! Set apart sometime to relax with the girls (maybe a spa day?) and pick out their dresses.
  8. Arrange for transportation.
  9. You’re getting closer to the big day! Do you have your wedding rehearsal details fixed? Is your wedding day timeline in progress? These are important aspects, spend some time working these out.
  10. Start working to clean out your skin. Start 6 months before your wedding day so you have enough time to make your skin look flawless.
  11. Have you finalized your vendor details? Now is the time to do so.
  12. Shop for wedding rings and get them engraved.
  13. Mail out invitations.
  14. Finalize honeymoon plans and obtain necessary travel documents like visas.
  15. If you’ll be having a seating chart for your guests create one.
  16. As you get close to the wedding day, double check the weather and if it looks iffy contact your venue and make sure you have a backup if required.
  17. Get a facial 1-2 weeks before the wedding, and enjoy a mani-pedi as well.
  18. Get your payments for your vendors ready the day before.
  19. Enjoy your big day! This is what you have worked so hard for! Remember to exercise regularly, leave time for relaxing and stay happy!
  20. Send out thank you cards after the wedding!
